Today, we’re going to tone things down from the quite usual large &
clunky notebook computer talk. Rather than discuss a 15-inch laptop, we’re
going to be covering the top netbooks of 2013. Now that the New Year has
arrived and we have a few days under our belt, it’s time to discuss our
thoughts on a few 2013 netbooks.
Technology these days is so advanced that even miniature 11-inch
netbooks can handle similar hardware-heavy tasks as a full-sized notebook.
Although not all netbooks are technologically advanced, there are a
few that are.
Netbooks nowadays are far more advanced than they were even a year ago
today. Manufacturers were able to create small powerful chips capable of
handling a multitude of tasks.
Top Netbooks 2013
Toshiba NB305-N600
This is a 10.1″ netbook that weighs just 2.9 pounds. Its processing chip is
a simple 1.83 GHz Intel Atom processor with 1 GB of SO-DIMM RAM. The 250 GB
hard-drive is probably large enough to last you years on end.
Yes, these specifications aren’t too astonishing. You just have to try out
the netbook itself to see the true potential. I was very leery of
purchasing this netbook at first. However, ever since that first boot-up it has
handled basic internet games, browsing, and word processing very well. On top
of that, it is a very portable laptop as you would imagine.
Overall, this is a very compact notebook computer if you’re looking for a
nice 2013 netbook!
Acer Aspire One A0725-0899
Check out this incredibly stylish netbook series! The Acer Aspire One is an
all black, thin and light (2.6 pounds) 11.6-inch netbook. With a screen
resolution of 1366-by-768, this netbook is much more pixel-dense than most
competing netbooks. The 1GHz dual-core C Series processing unit isn’t half bad
either. Other notable hardware specifications include, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 320 HDD
Space, and 5.5 hours battery life.
If there were any netbooks to consider at a price below $400.00, than Acer
Aspire One should be at the top of your list. The edge this netbook has over
others is the graphics card and processing speeds. Honestly, the resolution and
overall system speed is really noticeable with this device.
Selecting the Top Netbooks 2013
Still looking to purchase a 2013 based netbook? Than follow some of the
tips explained below. Netbooks are great for transporting from one area to another. They are the
smallest of all laptops, besides tablet computers. You first need to decide on
how ‘small’ of a notebook you want to purchase. Typically, all notebooks under
12-inches in size are labeled netbooks. Sometimes 13-inch laptops are just as
cheap if you want a larger, yet small alternative. Remember, netbooks aren’t the fastest laptops on the market. If you’re
looking for a speedy and small laptop, than a 13-inch machine should work
great.
